In June 2024, I took a new role at the University of Pittsburgh in the Health Sciences Office of Strategic Communication as Digital Media Coordinator. In September 2025, I was promoted and my role changed to Photographer. This role is responsible for visually communicating the excellence of Pitt Health Sciences to highlight research and education, and to tell stories of students and faculty.
From October 2022 to June 2024, I worked full-time at the University of Pittsburgh in the Department of Medicine's Office of DEI as Digital Media Coordinator, creating digital media and managing social media activity, website design and development, media relations, and internal communications. This position allowed me to grow professionally post-college and at the University of Pittsburgh.
Working in the Department of Medicine, collaborating and communicating with other departments, offices, and organizations is essential. I work to meet all digital media needs for the events that these groups host while utilizing correct branding and style guidelines.

Our office was small, but we strived to make a big impact and inclusive environment. When handed over the Instagram, our office's account had 30 followers and averaged a like a post. Since managing our socials we now have over 400 followers and have gained as many as 85 likes on a post and 1,500 views on a reel.
This short video was made in the format of an Instagram Reel. It recaps our Taste of Culture: Virtual Cooking Class event.
Participants were guided via Zoom through 5 recipes inspired by cuisines around the world, partnering with local minority-owned business Pure Grub.

Working with the Web Producer of the University of Pittsburgh Department of Medicine, we created a mockup website template to improve the hierarchy of content, update data, and make the website more user-friendly and accessible.
