About Me

Hi, I'm Rayni Shiring and I am a digital content creator. Photography became a hidden gift in my life in high school and looking back, my path from the beginning. From buying that Canon Rebel in 10th grade, to pursuing a degree that didn't quite fit me, to my passion being reignited by my university's newspaper and changing my major. It's always been digital media for me.

I currently work full-time as a Photographer for the University of Pittsburgh in the Health Sciences Office of Strategic Communications, coordinating photoshoots and managing digital assets within the schools of the health sciences to highlight research and education, and tell the stories of students and faculty.

Seasonally, I create photo and video content for MLB and NHL. Sports have always been a huge part of my life and shaped who I am.

I'm beyond grateful for the people I have met along this journey. Photography has opened doors that I never knew were even there, and I'll always look forward to wherever this field takes me.
